How to Stay Organized
I know that getting organized is not always the tricky part. The difficult thing is staying organized over time. I personally try on different things before I pick the perfect outfit every day and then when I get home at night I tend to dump my stuff on my desk and floor. After a few days, all of the organization I had accomplished is gone. So here are a few tips I found to help keep me on track.
1. Put things away when you are done with them. My mom used to tell me to do this all the time and I never listened to this wonderful advice until now. It helps make sure you are keeping up with things. I don't know about you, but after a long day, the last thing I want to do when I come home is re-organize and clean up where I did my hair and makeup. If only I had just put it back when I finished...
2. Make sure all laundry is done before you go to bed. I am NOTORIOUS for just putting the pile of clean clothes on my bed thinking that I will get to them, then pushing them onto the floor at night because I am to tired to put them away. After a couple of days, I would realize I had a mix of dirty, clean, and unknown clothes all over my floor and it became a bigger task than it should have been. Just make sure you put everything away before you go to bed and put dirty clothes in the hamper so that you don't have a pile to deal with later.
3. Schedule days to do different tasks. I try to strip and make my bed on Tuesdays and then vacuum on Fridays. if you assign cleaning tasks to different days and stick with it, you will cover everything you need to get done.
Hopefully these help you stay organized! :)
